The 2011 Spartan Awards
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the first ever, annual, Spartan Awards!
I wanted to wait until, you know, 2011 actually ended before doling out the awards. Many sites don’t, but I wanted everyone to have their fair shot at achieving immortality.
There are six categories, (Cage Girl of the Year, Best Newcomer, Upset of the Year, Submission of the Year, Knockout of the Year, Fight of the Year, and Fighter of the Year) all of which took several days to narrow down a winner. Many vied for the award in their individual category, but only one would hoist the Bronze Spartan Helmet.
So without further adieu, I give you the 2011 Spartan Awards!
